历史沿革[edit]
花果村民委员会设于1999年。村名的由来是当地果树成林、山水清秀。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
据村情介绍，全村耕地670亩，常住人口1265人。地形把村子分成两段：村头的“上洞”有6个村民小组，村尾的“下洞”有8个。一条河穿过全村，汇入龙衣窝、青山两座水库，水库供应新圩一带的饮水。[2]
村民种荔枝、龙眼和柑橘，部分人家在自己家里开农家菜馆。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
花果朱氏围屋是惠阳区级文物保护单位。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单；2022年1月列入广东省乡村治理示范村的创建名单；到2026年1月，又被评为“百千万工程”第二批典型村（广东省）。[1]
