前进村是广东省惠州市澳头街道下辖的行政村，原名蚝壳沙，1998年改为前进村委会。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

村名取“风雨同舟、携手前进”之意。[3]

村子原叫蚝壳沙，1952年建有蚝壳沙祖庙。据介绍，这里1949年曾建解放军军营，部队于1955年迁出，人民公社时期安置了三个“前进”村的居民。设管理区在1992年，改村委会在1998年。[2]
