名称与沿革[edit]
村名取自三门岛。该岛在大亚湾和大鹏湾交会的“漏斗口”上，三道水门可供船只通过，是粤东及以北沿海船只去港澳的必经水道。[3]
新中国成立后，这里归宝安县第七区；1983年划入惠阳县澳头镇，1991年起是大亚湾县澳头镇的三门行政村。[2]
三门岛又名沱泞岛，面积约5平方千米；据百度百科，康熙年间岛上才有人定居，1899年设过英国人管理的海关，如今还留有长约5公里的地下军事工事。[4]
2019年9月，三门村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
