名称与沿革[edit]
村子最初由几个渔业新村组成，渔民早年乘风帆船出海捕鱼，后来改用飞艇，因此叫飞帆。[3]
1953年，出海捕鱼的渔民在此定居，成立渔民新村一村；1958年起是澳头公社的飞帆大队。此后几十年，它几次与邻近渔村合并又分开：1982年同东升、金门塘、前进组成渔民乡，1987年分出，1988年与前进、金门塘、东升、三门再度合并，1989年又各自独立。管理区改为村委会是在1999年。[2]
2019年9月，飞帆村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2023年4月，列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
