村落坐落在良坑的上段，所以称上良坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上良坑大队成立于1968年；1983年起叫上良坑乡，1986年起叫农村管理区，1999年起由村民委员会管理，一直沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予该村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月又进入2018年度省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
