村子起初叫良坑，后来从「上和」「下睦」四字中各取一字组成和睦，作为新村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年至1959年间为和睦高级社，归军屯管区；1960年起另有和睦、良坑两个大队，1963年合并，称良坑大队，后来又改称和睦大队。1983年起叫和睦乡，1986年起叫和睦农村管理区，1999年起由和睦村民委员会管理。[1]
荣誉[edit]
该村进入省卫生村名录是在2019年10月，早一个月又被纳入省「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位名单（2018年度）。[1]
