格苍村是高州市大坡镇的行政村，当地盛产箩竹，是竹制品专业村，2021年入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
名称由来[edit]
此处向来盛产箩竹，有「箩竹之乡」的说法，漫山遍野的箩竹苍翠欲滴，因此叫格苍。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年至1959年间为格苍高级社，归下垌管区；1963年垌湴大队并入，称格苍大队。1983年起叫格苍乡，1986年起叫农村管理区，1999年起由格苍村民委员会管理。[1]
经济[edit]
省农业农村厅2021年9月公布第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，格苍村凭竹制品入选。[1]
