桃杏村是高州市大坡镇的行政村，2021年被评为广东省卫生村。[1]
名称由来[edit]
博雅地名网给了两种说法：一说村里原有桃树、杏树各一棵，依物取名；一说此地物产丰富、生活安乐，被比作世外桃源，村如杏花，故名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年至1959年间为桃杏高级社，归大坡管区；1960年起另有桃杏、大旺坡两个大队，到1963年合并成桃杏大队。1983年起叫桃杏乡，1986年起叫农村管理区，1999年起由桃杏村民委员会管理。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2019年9月进入2018年度省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
