龙湾村属湛江市廉江市，在石岭镇境内，是该镇辖下的行政村，村委会设在龙湾村，下辖14条自然村；2005年全村983户、3842人。[1][2]

2021年9月，龙湾村入选广东省农业农村厅第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（红橙）。[1][2]

2019年9月，龙湾村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2005年的统计，全村983户、3842人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，郑姓约占一半，陈姓约占15%，另有方、黄、许、徐、江、李等姓；村民通行黎话（约占85%）和白话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共2601亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、番薯、木薯、芋头、花生和蔬菜；该年粮食产量1577.9吨，渔业产量115吨，经济总收入为780万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有甘蔗、芋头、蒜头、尖椒、木薯。[1][2]
