龙湾村是四会市下茆镇的行政村，下设19个村民小组，登记人口3736人，土地约5.78平方公里（博雅地名网所载）[1]。
地名由来[edit]
村靠近龙江河，河道曲折多湾，得名龙湾[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
龙湾大队始于1958年，1987年改设管理区，1998年设村民委员会，当时属龙湾镇；2002年龙湾镇并入下茆镇后归下茆镇管辖[1]。
经济[edit]
除水稻外，种黄皮、龙眼、荔枝，养四大家鱼[1]。2023年5月，西鸦三村、三村获评2022年广东省卫生村；名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布）[1]。
