历史沿革[edit]
民国时属马贵西乡一堡；解放后设龙湾乡，其后公社化；于1961年改龙湾大队，于1980年复称龙湾乡，1986年11月成立村民委员会，于1989年称管理区办事处，于1999年改回龙湾村民委员会[1]。
地名由来[edit]
相传村中河流的转弯处曾有龙出没，村民遂称龙湾[2]
经济[edit]
村里种水稻、蔬菜和杉树，反季节蔬菜是特色收入，并与山口、达垌两村连成小片蔬菜基地；山场面积大，村里也发展经济林（村情未注明年份）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，龙湾村列入第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，项目为三华李[1]。广东省爱卫会在2021年12月将龙湾村评为「2021年广东省卫生村」[1]。龙湾村在2019年9月被列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位[1]。
