龙湾社区是广东省湛江市廉江市石岭镇辖下的社区，驻地在原龙湾圩的朝阳中路，下辖龙东、龙西两个自然村，2005年共728户、3017人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区因驻地在原龙湾圩而得名。[1]

1983年以前，这里是龙湾大队；其后依次改称乡、居委会、管理区，1999年成立龙湾社区居民委员会。龙湾原是一个独立的镇，2004年并入石岭镇（该页记为5月撤镇）。[1]

2019年9月，龙湾社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2005年，社区的民族有汉族、壮族、苗族、黎族，汉族约占98%；姓氏有郑、陈、许、李、伍，郑姓约占55%，陈姓约占30%；方言有白话和黎话，黎话约占70%。[2]

经济[edit]

社区耕地373亩（2005年），当年粮食产量226.3吨，渔业产量8吨，经济总收入785万元；种植的有水稻、番薯、木薯、芋头、花生和蔬菜，地下资源有花岗岩、高岭土、石灰石和河沙。[2]
