沙岗村在新会区三江镇北面，与联和、新江两村隔山相望，东连九子沙村、洋美村，西邻官田村，北隔北赤海与深吕村相对，有会城至睦洲、大鳌的省道相通[1]。

地理环境[edit]

据早年的地名资料，辖区面积5平方千米，人口1751人，下设6个村民小组；耕地2604亩，其中水田672亩、鱼塘828亩、水果200亩，山林2000亩[1]。当时的集体收入主要来自土地和鱼塘发包，2009年村委会收入12万元[1]。该资料写成时，村由沙岗和原皮子两村合并而成；2020年6月皮子村从沙岗村分设[1][2]。
