历史沿革[edit]
清顺治年间（1644年至1661年），三江圩设在五仙庙山麓，名「石狗圩」，规模很小；后来圩场迁到联和村的蟹山脚下，称「蟹山圩」，清末《新会乡土志》已有此名。因水陆交通方便，又处在联和、新江两村之间，商业逐渐兴旺[1]。
此后名称几经变化：1953年为村级的三江镇，1957年并入三江乡，1986年成为居委会，1988年一度叫圩镇居民管理区，到2002年改称社区居委会，沿用至今[1]。
荣誉[edit]
三江社区在2017年10月被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会评为「第一批广东省卫生村」[1]。
