鲁岗村是里水镇下辖的行政村，明洪武年间（1368至1398年）开村，总面积2.7平方千米，含11个自然村[1]。
相传最早的居民祖籍山东，当地春秋时属鲁国，迁来后把村北的山岗叫鲁岗，以示不忘本，村名也随之[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
明代属南海金利司的桃子堡；康熙二十五年（1686年）归入花县，同治年间才回到南海，民国16年（1927年）以前一直是金利司桃子堡的辖地；1953至1956年与贤僚村同属第九区团胜乡；1958年底到1959年7月，先后隶属东风（官窑）公社、里和公社的团胜大队[1]。

村委简介称，辖区耕地2275亩，另有鱼塘1175亩、花卉地747亩；本地村民2579人，外来人口365人；2007年经济总收入1.1607亿元[1]。
