历史沿革[edit]
米稔原是乾塘乡的一部分。1958年它从乾塘大队中独立出来，归坡头公社；三年后埇尾大队又从它分出。乾塘公社于1963年成立，埇尾与米稔随即合并，仍名米稔大队，转入新公社[2]。
1983年5月米稔与乾塘重新合在一起，叫乾塘乡，1987年起为乾塘村委会；1990年米稔另设管理区，1999年成为米稔村民委员会，沿用至今[2]。
荣誉[edit]
米稔村在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2021年1月入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」名单[1]。
