皮子村是新会区三江镇的行政村，从沙岗村中分出，2020年6月设立[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
相传明成化年间（1465年至1487年），叶姓渔民皮子从今开平市三埠一带来此定居，村因此称皮子[1]。清康熙县志记作潮居都二十图的皮子里外村；道光县志则写作沙岗村，居民姓梁[1]。
1951年起隶官田乡，之后随官田并入八堡乡、官田管理区；1959年单设皮子大队，1965年并回官田大队，到1967年又同官田、五四组成红星大队，直至1973年才恢复为独立的皮子大队[1]。
