谢禾村是新会区三江镇的行政村，2020年6月自原新谢村分出设立；博雅地名网写作「谢和村」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间（1573年至1619年），李姓先祖从云步（今司前石步）迁来立村；相传此地多蛇，原称蛇冲（涌），「蛇」与「谢」同音，改称谢冲[1]。1950年禾坑的村民迁入，两村各取一字，合称谢禾[1]。
此后它与新村一样，先后隶属洋美乡、八堡乡和洋美管理区，1959年单设谢禾大队，1965年起又并入洋美大队[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[1]。
