石咀村位于江门市新会区罗坑镇西南，与南联村、陈冲村相邻，下辖11个村民小组[1]。村内的林氏家庙是广东省重点文物保护单位，与广州陈家祠同时期[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村北有一座石山伸入潭江的青胆洋，古称青胆石，形状像兽嘴，后来“嘴”字简写为“咀”，村名由此而来。村旧称沙岗，晚清时因与开平的沙岗同名，改称石咀乡[1]。

民国时为石咀乡。1954年一度分为石咀、沙冈两乡，1958年合并为石咀管理区；1959年管理区分出6个大队，1965年调整为石咀、南联、下沙3个大队。石咀大队1984年称石咀乡，1986年设村委会，1988年称管理区，1999年改回村委会[1]。岭源村、罗坑村的林姓先祖，据村情资料也是从石咀迁出的[3][4]。

地理环境[edit]

全村耕地3313亩，鱼塘1350亩，设1个经济合作社[1]。

集体收入以鱼塘发包为主，当地出产水菜和西洋菜[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

林氏家庙始建于清雍正年间，雍正十一年（1733年）上梁，乾隆三年（1738年）完工，用了五年；光绪年间重修[1]。家庙分中、东、西三路，中路是祠堂主体，当地俗称“四沓祠堂”；旁边的金山祖祠与家庙构成建筑群，总占地2500多平方米[2]。村情材料称全祠五进、进深70余米，两种说法并存[1][2]。家庙里的木雕、石雕和灰塑工艺精细[2]。另外，石咀红楼也是罗坑墙绘表现的古建筑之一[5]。

文化[edit]

2021年12月，石咀村获评2021年广东省卫生村；2023年5月，村内的汇源村、新塘村入选2022年度广东省卫生村；2024年1月，列入「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」名单[1]。
