历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网解释村名：续岭村委会同江口镇新进交界处有一道又长又陡的山岭，是从前去江口的必经之路，岭顶设有茶亭，两侧各有一条山岭，叫续岭。[2] 1961年成立人民公社，1983年改区，1984年设乡，1987年改称村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
村集体收入来自果园、林地出租和房屋租赁，村办有一处20亩的沙糖桔果园。[1][2] 全村水果1600多亩，速生桉2000多亩。[2] 2019年9月，续岭村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
