大墩村在佛山市顺德区乐从镇东面，距镇中心3.5公里，面积约2.8平方千米，地处佛山新城区B区规划范围，村内有始建于明崇祯年间的梁氏家庙[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，南宋咸淳九年至十年（1273至1274年）南雄珠玑巷事件后，蔡氏族人在此建村，旁边有个大土墩，俗称“梁上墩”，后称大墩[1]。民国时属平桂乡，新中国成立初期属桂腾乡，1958年设大墩大队，1983年起称乡，1987年起称村，1989年起叫管理区，1999年改为村民委员会[1]。

地理与经济[edit]

村域已建成省运会体育中心、新闻发布中心，东平大桥跨东平水道，经荷岳公路接325国道[2]。村情材料记全村3512人，968户，设东区、南区、西区、福大、青墩、庙后、玉堂、同安8个村民小组，耕地300亩，鱼塘680亩，工业园570亩，流动人口4900多人[2]。

2020、2021、2022年连续入选淘宝村；2019年9月进入广东省2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位；2023年11月进入广东首批“百千万工程”典型县镇村之列，2024年4月又被列为广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建对象[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

大墩梁氏家庙创建于明崇祯年间，据说为表彰翰林院大学士梁衍泗，由皇帝敕建；现存建筑是1897年重建的，坐西向东，分三路，两进一香亭，面阔30米、进深33米，有镬耳山墙和灰塑装饰[3][4]。2006年列为佛山市文物保护单位，2022年7月列为第十批广东省文物保护单位[4]。
