沙滘社区在佛山市顺德区乐从镇南部中央，辖区面积约5.31平方千米，原为沙滘村，南宋时开村，2016年12月列入第四批中国传统村落名录[1][2]。村中的陈氏大宗祠是省级文物保护单位，社区经济以家具业为主[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所述，南宋绍兴二十七年（1157年）罗姓人在此开村，旧称“沙溪村”，留有“罗巷”的地名为证；明代岑文亮、岑文凯兄弟考取功名后，嫌“溪”字格局小，改名沙滘[1]。

地理与人口[edit]

社区在乐从镇城区南面，325国道穿境而过[2]。辖区下设东村、南村、西村、北村四个居民片，共23个居民小组，各自有股份合作社[2]。博雅地名网记常住人口7812人、2331户，登记的暂住流动人口超过12000人[2]。

经济[edit]

辖区以家具业为主，乐从国际家具城、顺联国际家具城等多家大型家具市场建在界内，家具商铺合计超过100万平方米[2]。沙滘社区在2020、2021、2022年连续进入淘宝村名单[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

沙滘古村保留着传统村落的格局：南村的牧伯里古民居群由17条等宽的石板街划分，约有170间古宅；东村存有大澳坊的两座门楼；西村低地一带的民居是旅居南洋的华侨陈泰回乡所建[4]。

陈氏大宗祠当地称“陈家祠”，占地4000多平方米，开有大小正横侧门98道，据说由陈泰发起、各地族人集资，动工五年建成，1895年奠基；旧时衬祠是族中子弟读书处，后来作过小学和中学校舍，这也使它在“文化大革命”中得以保全[4][3]。祠堂2002年7月列为第四批广东省文物保护单位；2007年9月起，乐从镇政府先后投入近2000万元修缮[3]。
