高埔村在汕头市潮南区陇田镇东北部，北邻珠埕村，西接长厝村，是沿海地带的农业村。村名来自所处地势较高；明嘉靖年间许氏三世祖迁来创村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
许氏一世祖文海公原住横陇乡路内村（今澄海区上华镇一带），迁居成田深沟后，到第三代才落户高埔，时在明嘉靖年间（1522—1566年）。现居民为许、郑二姓。1975年珠长大队拆分，高埔单设大队；1986年改村委会，1992年归珠埕管理区。[1]

全村358户，2087人，分4个居民组共8个小组，耕地280亩，池塘200亩，集体经济收入每年近20万元，农业、副业和渔业都有发展。[1] 高埔在2023年5月获得广东省卫生村称号（2022年度）。[1]
