珠埕村在汕头市潮南区陇田镇的沙陇片区北部，东邻高埔村，西北与敦灶村、合力村接壤，北面是龟海边的池塭。旧名牛埕，明嘉靖年间萧氏由敦灶迁来立村，后雅称珠埕；2020至2022年连续三年列入淘宝村名单。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里明初是海滨滩涂，荒草丛生，又是农民放牛的空地，因此叫牛埕。萧素直（萧氏三世祖）的次子存诚，在嘉靖年间（1522—1566年）由敦灶迁来创村，传至今已二十世。1918年建寨时，用棉城举人萧凤翥所书的南门匾「珠光得气」和寿臣所书的西门匾「土曜埕辉」，定名为珠埕。^[2]

民国时期属潮阳县峡山都，新中国成立之初归蓝堡乡；公社化后隶珠长大队，1975年该大队拆成珠埕、高埔、合力、墩灶四个，珠埕自此单立，1983年改乡，1986年起为村委会（1992年曾称管理区）。^[2]

全村871户、4736人，耕地950亩，种水稻、香蕉和柑橘，河网密布，地力肥沃。工业以服装为主，尤以童装、内衣出名。^[1]^[2] 珠埕在2020年、2021年、2022年均入选淘宝村名单。^[2]

珠埕是侨村。村里的自来水工程是1989年由侨胞与村民出资修的；泰国侨胞萧伟民等人又在1995年捐建了珠埕华侨学校，校地3000多平方米。^[2]^[3]
