溪西社区是汕头市潮南区陇田镇镇区的中心村之一，位于大南山北麓。因村在溪流西侧而得名，创村于南宋祥兴年间（1278—1279年）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明、清至民国初年属潮阳县峡山都，民国属第七区；1950年归沙陇乡，1958年称溪西大队，1983年改乡，1986年设居委会，1992年称管理区，1999年恢复居委会。[1]
地理与设施[edit]
村里的主干道向东南通和惠公路、深汕高速，向西连陈沙公路，往北到陇田的商贸中心。市溪、东溪河和寨前溪从村中流过。社区内有长5800米的硬底化村道，以及30亩大的养怡文化公园。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
社区内的五皈古寺是文物保护单位，博雅地名网称其历史悠久。[1]
