历史沿革[edit]
先民靠山建寨，附近小山丘多，起初称山家村，后改雅称仙家。明、清至民国初年属潮阳县峡山都，民国属第七区；1950年归沙陇乡，1958年称仙家大队，1983年改乡，1986年设居委会，1992年称管理区，1999年恢复居委会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
西南与溪西社区相邻，北面是浩溪社区，东溪流经境内，和惠公路在村东南。辖区3.57平方里，耕地1237亩，淡水养殖约600亩，山林2300亩，人口近1万。工业门类有线缆、织袜、松紧带、家具、服装。[1][2]
文化与荣誉[edit]
1991年旅外华侨捐资建成仙家华侨学校，1998年又建办公楼，2009年建成江南运动场；清代翰林郑邦任于1905年倡办履新学校。[1] 社区入选第七批广东省古村落（2021年1月公布），2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
