敦灶村在汕头市潮南区陇田镇北部，名字取自创寨先祖「敦灶」。创村于明成化年间（1465—1487年），全村220多户、1318人，以水稻种植为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清至民国初年属潮阳县峡山都，1921年属第七区。1950年属蓝堡乡，1958年属珠长大队；1975年该大队拆分，敦灶成为独立大队，1986年改村委会，1999年起沿用现在的建制。[2]

经济与建设[edit]

耕地近400亩，水稻为主，村集体年收入不足3万元。2005年新一届村班子成立后，先后花100多万元铺水泥路、挖深面前池、筑护栏；2008年村里拿出四十多万元，把成田镇深沟车站一带的自来水接了进来，另建公厕两座；2021年改造党群服务中心，工程总投资54.27万元。村里有划龙舟的传统。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

首批广东省卫生村（2017年10月，由省爱国卫生运动委员会授予）里有敦灶村；2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）。[2]
