兴陇社区位于汕头市潮南区陇田镇的沙陇片区中心，由溪拍寨和铺前仔两处聚落合成。1956年至1995年，沙陇区、镇的党政机关设在社区内的绵德里（宝成）。[1][2]

名称与历史[edit]

建国初期，溪拍寨按寨门匾「兴朴永兴」称兴朴社，铺前仔按寨门匾「陇前献瑞」称陇前社，后来两社合并，各取一字，叫兴陇。[1] 明、清至民国初年属潮阳县峡山都，民国属第七区；1950年归沙陇乡，1958年称兴陇大队，1986年设居委会，1999年起沿用现名。[1][2]

姓氏与人口[edit]

社区有1475户、7540人，住着黄、郑、陈、王、朱等姓。黄氏三世祖黄玉江在元朝至正年间从福建闽县迁来溪拍；陇前的郑氏由芝兰迁来，时在清康熙初年；王氏七世王九锡于康熙年间自潮州迁到铺前仔；朱氏则在1958年因水库建设从龙溪一级水库库区迁入。[1]

经济与人物[edit]

耕地1280亩，以粮食作物为主，有蔬菜种植的传统；共有八家企业，涉及纺织、电线、织袜、服装、家具、印刷。1992年侨胞和村民集资100多万元扩建学校。本地走出的人物有乾隆年间的举人郑亨光、创办砺青中学的郑国凯和画家郑松，「黄祠独构」「古池月色」是沙陇的景点。[1][2]
