浩溪社区在汕头市潮南区陇田镇中心地带，陇田镇人民政府设在这里。村名来自大龙溪水系穿村而过，寨门横匾上有「龙江东注」「衔岳吞江」之句，故称浩溪。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

浩溪创村于明洪武年间（1368—1398年），明、清至民国初年属潮阳县峡山都，民国属第七区。1950年归沙陇乡，1958年称浩溪大队，1983年改乡，1986年设居委会，1992年称管理区，1999年恢复居委会。[1]

概况[edit]

社区1557户共7853人，水稻田672亩，山林1800亩，鱼池将近1000亩。出产电线电缆、包装纸箱、针织品和袜子，还引进了一家玻璃科技企业。[1][2] 社区自述曾实现学校校舍楼房化、饮用水自流化、村道水泥化和排污沟硬底化。[2]
