溪西社区是广东省汕头市龙湖区鸥汀街道下辖的纯农社区，在街道东北端，南接旧地社区，北邻铁洲社区，东为韩江堤，西接火车北站，面积0.76平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于清康熙年间，在新津河西面，故名溪西。[1] 宋代时隶揭阳县蓬洲都，1563年澄海立县后归其管辖。1953年8月设渔五乡（汕头市郊区下蓬区），此后改为渔五生产大队。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

社区有454户、1230人，耕地305亩，其中250户848人务农。近年引进液化气体、机械、香精香料等企业；2009年工业产值1060万元。[1] 2017年10月获第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]
