新二村是珠海市斗门区白蕉镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区。村子由清末围垦磨刀门水道一带的滩涂而来，在「新环」围垦序列里排第二，故名「新二」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治至光绪年间，香山、新会、顺德一带的渔民大批迁入，沿着磨刀门水道围滩造田，筑基搭棚定居下来。围垦成田后按次序编号命名：「新环」得名于围的形状如环，新二是其中的第二个围。[1]

1965年称新二大队，划归斗门县白蕉公社；1984年改作新二乡，属白蕉区；1986年起称新二村民委员会，沿用至今。[1] 1992年7月白蕉镇设立工业开发区时，从新二村划出四围作为开发区的范围。[2]

荣誉[edit]

新二村列入2021年9月公布的第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（白蕉海鲈）；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
