历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网说虾山建于清乾隆四十八年（1783年），是周、杨、赖、吴等姓先人迁来聚居形成的；该网沿革部分又写成康熙年间立村，起初叫大环村，后来叫螟虾头村，再简称虾山村。[1] 建国后属中山县第八区六乡乡；1965年起编为虾山大队，归斗门县六乡公社；1984年改作虾山乡，属六乡区；1986年称虾山村民委员会，属六乡镇；2002年归白蕉镇管辖。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村后的山远看像一只弯弓的大虾，故名「虾山」。[1]
文化[edit]
虾山村是白蕉镇的客家村之一，客家咸茶在当地客家村里十分普遍；博雅地名网还提到艾饼是村里的非遗食品。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
虾山村在2019年12月被认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」；2024年4月，列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
