地名由来[edit]
村场夹在两边山脚之间，一条小河从中穿过，形成两个能停泊船只的港湾，「孖」是成双的意思，故叫孖湾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国和建国后仍在中山县第八区。1965年斗门建县，孖湾编为大队，隶六乡公社；1984年改作孖湾村，属斗门县六乡区公所；1986年起称孖湾村民委员会；2002年归新建的白蕉镇管辖。[1]
