历史沿革[edit]
建国后叫大托乡，归中山县第八区；1965年改作大托大队，划归斗门县白蕉公社；1984年改作大托乡，1986年起称大托村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
自然村[edit]
- 北村：因在乌妮峰山及山溪之北得名，明嘉靖年间刘氏从新会沙冲迁来建村。[2]
- 南村：在山溪之南，明万历六年（1578年）由廖氏先祖从新会迁来始建。[2]
- 中心村：在大托五围的中间，博雅地名网记为清顺治年间（1665年）立村。[2]
- 罗棚村：明万历年间始建，渔民常在此搭棚晾晒渔网、渔箩，村名即由此来。[2]
- 刘家环村：1931年，北村的刘氏族人分出一支，迁到喜鹊山下的环坑立村；因山丘如花环般围着，故名。[2]
文化[edit]
村里的「大托米酒」小有名气，创始人是任家村的任兴。[2] 村内留有南村防空洞、第一峰地道战等遗迹，大托小学旁保存着清同治年间的恒弼刘公祠。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，大托村被广东省农业农村厅认定为2022年广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（鲈鱼）；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
