历史沿革[edit]
六乡最早是1958年的一个乡，当年就改为长征公社。到1986年，这里升格为镇，仍归斗门县；2002年镇的建制被撤销，辖区整个划进白蕉镇，六乡社区的名称就是这样留下来的。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，六乡社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
