红星社区在深圳市光明区玉塘街道南部，与宝安区石岩街道相邻。社区的前身是石岩麻布村，因修建石岩水库于1958年冬迁到现址。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载，麻布村原位于石岩水库库区内，抗日战争时期是有名的革命游击村；1958年冬响应号召大修水利，修建石岩水库，村子搬迁到今红星社区所在地。社区名称取「红星闪闪」的革命寓意。[1][2]

人口与地理[edit]

社区面积约0.45平方千米，户籍人口163人、74户，外来人口约16000人，有4个工业区。松白路从社区东面经过，南面紧邻石岩湖度假村，西面靠乌云顶山，北面与玉律社区相连。[1]

社区治理[edit]

红星社区在城中村推行天然气入户点火，用30天就把点火率做到60.3%，被称为「红星点火模式」，玉塘街道办事处把它写入2020年工作总结，称已在全市推广。[3]
