竹园社区是深圳市福田区香蜜湖街道下辖的社区，成立于2005年4月，因辖区内的竹园花园得名，与竹林社区同在竹子林一带。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

1982年国务院、中央军委决定调基建工程兵两万人到深圳转业；1983年深圳市政府将其中的十九团（00024部队）成了深圳市第三建筑工程公司，驻在竹子林，职工与家属在此住下，形成小区。2002年4月，竹园、竹林分设两个社区居委会。[2] 2022年3月，社区被深圳市住房和建设局认定为第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[2]

区政府网站称辖区面积0.78平方千米，共11个居民小区、96栋住宅楼，住户6500户；常住13500人，流动人口10500人；单位213家，另有个体商业网点180个。[1] 博雅地名网给的面积为1.4平方千米，所列户数、人口与区政府网站相同。[2]
