历史沿革[edit]
竹园在明清归博罗县典文署，民国年间在第十一区英勇乡；1949年后先后隶属一区龙宁乡、龙华乡。人民公社时期是竹园大队，1983年改为乡，1986年改称竹园管理区，1999年定名竹园村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，竹园村被广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
