竹园村是曲江区大塘镇下辖的行政村。境内竹资源多，因此得名竹园。[1]村委会在106国道旁，距镇政府驻地约8.5公里，有17个村民小组，483户2361人。[1]村民习惯种植粉葛；2008年11月，村里成立竹园火山粉葛专业合作社。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，竹园村列入首批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为火山粉葛；2019年9月在2018年度省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中有名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
公社化时期（1961年3月起）为大塘公社的竹园大队；撤社建乡改革后的1983年11月起称竹园乡，到1986年12月又定名竹园村委会，其间1989年曾叫管理区，1998年12月恢复村委会之名。[1]
