永兴村属广州市增城区中新镇，是镇辖的行政村。博雅地名网所载村情记其面积6平方千米，耕地约3500亩，户籍人口2680人（540户），流动人口80人，下辖9个自然村、26个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

取“永远兴旺发达”之意。[1]

永兴村的集体组织始于1956年成立的永兴高级农业生产合作社。两年后实行人民公社化，村隶属中新公社，当时的生产大队叫永兴大队；1959年福和从中新公社划出，村随之改属福和公社。1983年公社改区，大队改称乡，1987年撤乡设村、成立村民委员会，仍归福和镇管辖，2004年福和镇并入中新镇后改属中新镇。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

村里的花山社、二社建有新农村广场，另有文化活动室和三间卫生站；旧村庄改造投入资金100多万元。[1]
