历史沿革[edit]
名称取永远兴隆的寓意。[2]人民公社成立的1958年，永兴与弼教同在第二营，所属6个连分别在镇北、充美、横岭；1959年取消连营，两地分开，永兴单独成为大队。其后1984年设乡政府，1987年改设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年又恢复村的建制，2001年9月才设居委会。[1]

社区东面是旧圩，南有佛陈路，镇北、充美、横岭为3个居民小组；共1813户，常住6280人，外来人口八千多。[1]辖区有企业43家，陈村镇工业园大部分在这里。[1]
