历史沿革[edit]
关于村名，博雅地名网说，明代有村民从东莞迁来建村，这里原是江中的白色沙洲；百度百科则说，元朝后期朱、叶、余姓移民建村，初称碧江，明朝因江水清澈改为白江。两说并存。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
村下辖南顺、东宁、元会、田吓四个合作社，共925户；常住居民3248人，外来人口约1.25万。村集体年收入约3000万元，主要靠出租土地和厂房；村域内聚集了碧桂园凤凰城、盛世名门等大型住宅区。[1][2]
百度百科称，村里的旧村改造项目于2020年启动，拟改造面积143万平方米。[2]
白江村在2020年至2022年的淘宝村名单上有名字，2019年9月列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
湛治中墓、湛果成墓在白江村东宁合作社的大桥头山，属明代古墓葬，2008年12月公布为第七批广州市文物保护单位。[1]
