塘下村是广州市从化区城郊街道东部的行政村，东临流溪河，距从化城区约4公里。[1][2]土地面积527公顷，分设15个经济社，2017年底户籍人口3241人。[2]

村名的来历：1958年成立大队时，所属的两条自然村叫旧塘下、新塘下，合称塘下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

塘下大队始于1958年；1982年12月改称塘下乡，1987年1月设村民委员会。[1]

经济与民俗[edit]

村里主要种水稻，近年火龙果等水果渐多，另有少量工业。[2]流传的民俗包括添丁上灯、醒狮、邓家拳和臭屁醋；村里组有醒狮队和业余粤剧团，每年还召开座谈会奖励成绩优秀的学生。[2][1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，塘下村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
