良爱生产大队成立于1970年。此后，1985年设立乡级人民政府，1988年改设管理区办事处，1999年设立村民委员会。^[1]

2021年12月，良爱村委会下辖的长田岩村与良爱村一同被确定为「2021年度阳江市卫生村」。^[1]
