左村是广州市从化区城郊街道西北部的行政村，距从化城区约8公里，东靠矮岭村，南接黄场村、水坑村，西、北两面与鳌头镇的鹿田村、潭口村相邻，县道286线（街人公路）穿村而过。[1]全村面积约4平方千米，分10个经济社、3个自然村，常住1348人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
左村大队建于1958年，起初归城郊公社；1976年并入民乐茶场，名为左村农业管理区；到1995年才设村民委员会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村内多山地，种有大量果树，以荔枝为主，也种水稻和蔬菜。[1]2024年3月，左村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
