白岗村是广州市从化区城郊街道中部偏西北的行政村，西面连着明珠工业园，距从化城区约7公里，村道与街人公路（X286）相接。[1][2]土地面积266.32公顷，分设8个经济社，2017年底户籍人口1139人。[2]
村名的由来是：约200年前，有村民从麻村的白岗地迁来定居，遂以白岗为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
白岗原是1960年建的广和大队的一部分，该大队含白岗、坑尾、水坑三条自然村；1972年三村各立大队，白岗按村名得名。1983年12月起与茂新、黄场、矮岭同属大光乡，1987年1月拆开，设白岗村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹与民俗[edit]
村内的戚氏宗祠是清代建筑；村里春节有包油角、炒米饼的习俗，端午包粽子。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，白岗村被广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年5月，获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
