小乌村在东涌镇西北部，番禺大道南段与南沙大道北段之间，分西流、急流两个自然村。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

新中国成立前这里是沙湾司大乌乡的一部分，1954年自大乌乡划出，因而得名小乌。何、高、黄姓在清代开村；60年代初急流、小乌曾分作两个大队，不久重新合一。[1][2]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情介绍，全村面积3.5平方千米，耕地3036亩，1227户，总人口6649，其中户籍3207人、流动人口3442人；村内企业79家，涉及电子、五金、石材、家具、服装等；2013年工农业总产值约1.36亿元。[2]
