大稳村在东涌镇北部，隔骝岗水道朝西南望见小乌、天益两村，陆上北连石基村，东、南分别挨着东涌村和南涌村。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
“大稳”之名古已有之，含义不详。[1]1953年归石基乡；公社化时与沙鼻梁共组大稳大队，其后曾分开，1962年再度合并；改乡在1984年，设村民委员会在1987年。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
据村情介绍，全村面积5.2平方千米，耕地4089亩，1732户、5845人，村民主要姓郭、陈、何、梁、卢，沿大稳涌、沙鼻梁涌和棒界涌居住。[2]2013年，工业总产值约9.5亿元，农业约8851万元；村内共有43家内外资企业。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2016年12月，大稳村在「第四批美丽宜居村庄示范」中入选；2017年11月，中央文明委授予它「第五届全国文明村镇」称号；2021年12月，它被列为「广州粤菜师傅名村」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
