东深村在东深村处镇的西南，管辖东良、里沙深、四和围三个自然村，村名是东良、里沙深两个较大自然村名各取一字拼成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
冯、何两姓在乾隆四十年（1775）开村，早期由五个自然村构成，即东良、滘仔、内沙心、外沙心和四和围。1959至1960年间这里办过示范农场；1961年成立东深大队，1984年称乡，1987年起设村民委员会。[1]

据村情介绍，全村面积2.8平方千米，耕地1161亩，共1097户，常住2593人，村级集体每年收入约500万元；南沙大道和鱼窝头大道穿村而过，工业有五金、服装、灯饰，农业种果蔗和香蕉。[1]
