石排村在东涌镇东南部，面向南边的鱼窝头村，中间隔着骝岗水道；东面为庆盛村，西北为官坦村。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落清末成形。1953年的石排乡包括石排、石特、庆盛、茂丰、沙公堡几处；公社化后茂丰、沙公堡划去组成三沙大队，1970年庆盛也独立，剩下的石排和石特合为石排大队；1984年起称乡，1987年设村民委员会。^[1]^[2]

石排小学创办于1923年，1979至1989年间村里还办过石排联中；村内幼儿园获评市一级、市绿色幼儿园。村境内有京珠高速公路、南二环公路穿过，地铁四号线与广深港高铁也经过这里。^[2]

据村情介绍，全村面积3.4平方千米，耕地1833亩，1067户、6176人，村民主要姓郭、王、梁、陈、何、黎；工业企业5家，个体工商户近200家。^[2]
